Pilgrim’s Pride Opens US$40 Million Food Processing Plant in Durango

On 5 November, Pilgrim’s Pride inaugurated its El Porvenir prepared-foods plant in Gómez Palacio, Durango, following an investment of approximately US$40 million, equivalent to MXN 720 million. The facility is expected to create more than 300 direct jobs and forms part of the company’s wider US$1.3 billion Mexico investment plan through 2030.
